“水点桃花”原为“珠山八友”之一刘雨岑先生创作的粉彩画面，淡雅的粉红色桃花和青翠欲滴的绿叶，使人们联想到鸟语花香、生机盎然的春之景象，给人一种别开生面之感。作品体现了造型秀丽、构图新颖、手法巧妙、意境清雅的艺术风格。画面整体布局与器型相得益彰，将中国传统画的意境在瓷上用笔与色之技巧完美地结合，恰到好处。桃花直接用“玻璃白”点出花的形象，然后以洋红加以点染，桃叶彩墨结合得体，随枝点染，端庄秀美，艳而不俗，细而不腻。画面达到了既具传统花鸟画之长，又反映出时代新意，广受中外人士所喜爱。

Peach blossom porcelain was a decoration pattern in famille rose created by one of the Eight Friends of Pearl Mount—famous porcelain painter Mr. Liu Yuceng. The pink peach blossom and green leaves associate it with the vibrant spring of birds and blossoms, making people feel new and novel. The work shows elegant artistic style such as beautiful shapes、novel composition and skillful techniques. The whole picture matches well with the shape and perfectly reflects the artistic conception of Chinese traditional painting. The “glass white” was used to draw the blossom and then added magenta halftones on it. The color of blossom and leaf interact each other gracefully, elegantly and clearly. The whole painting not only retains the advantage of Chinese traditional birds and flowers painting but also embodies the new ideas of time. So they become the favorites at home and abroad.
